2015 was a great year for me and 2016 looks very very promising as well. I haven’t been very active on the blog because I’ve put up a website for my “online business”, Résumé Yourself (see Facebook page and the brand new website I’m still working on)
I’ve been doing a lot of reading and research and I have some questions that might seem very stupid, but I have to address them, or I will go crazy (even more than I already am).
Why do people like to set limits and boundaries to their own life?
5 things you need to do to lose weight
10 places you have to visit before you die
20 books you need to read in your lifetime
25 things you shouldn’t do if you want to be happy
Now, don’t get me wrong, I understand the idea behind the promotional ads and marketing strategy and all that and I understand that generally speaking, people need guidelines and ideas in order to maintain a “healthy” lifestyle. But SOME people believe that if they keep up with these guidelines they will be happier, healthier, wealthier or whatever other “-ier” that will bring joy to their life.
And when that doesn’t happen, they become super depressed, stressed and sad. I’ve actually seen cases, so I’m not just writing these lines. People actually believe EVERYTHING they read on the internet, and it is not safe. It can actually be dangerous. Especially because children have access to the internet from a very early age.
Because that’s how society eventually comes up with ideas like:
“breastfeeding in public is shameful” – although you see women with their breasts hanging out offensively on a daily basis
“kids shouldn’t climb trees because they could fall” – seriously?! How was your childhood?
“children should obey their teachers and listen to everything they say, without questioning it” – then let’s create robots instead of human beings capable of using their own brain.
“you can’t play with that child because he is below our social status” – what?!?
And so many other things that just disturb nature’s true course.
So, I will just say some things that a person SHOULD do in their lifetime.
READ as much as you can, as many subjects as you can, and QUESTION everything. Because it’s your right to do so, that’s why you have a brain!!!
CLIMB on trees, mountains and whatever other place you want to climb on, because you can, you have feet for that, and hands to hold on tight – how do you think people who can’t use their feet feel? They would love to climb, or walk, or run, and YOU don’t do it because you’re afraid and you set limitations to your own body.
EMBRACE all nations of the world, be friends with everyone, love people and don’t be racist, don’t discriminate based on colour, gender, religion, education or sexual orientation. People have the right to believe in whatever they want, and they should be respected for that.
Seriously, understand that LIFE ENDS FAST, and you never know what can happen tomorrow, so why do you need to set boundaries, limitations and be full of hatred and evil ideas?
When you set your 2016 resolutions, just put this on the list: LIVE YOUR LIFE IN A HAPPY WAY!
See how that turns everything around for you! 😉
