Vintage Bazaar in Timişoara, Romania

I can still remember my first visit to Timişoara, back in November 2013. You can read more about my first encounter here – An Irish Man in Romania for the first time. Of course, I have learned more and more about Romania with every visit and I’ve come to the conclusion that I can help people, like me, who are visiting for the first time, or who have no idea about how beautiful this country really is. My wife and I decided to create a page: Tourist in Timişoara – Romania to try and help everyone with some tips, stories and valuable advice. This way our “Carmich Travel Journal” will have more to give to the people who really want to get to know more about this country.

This weekend we have come across an event that should be on everyone’s to-see list. An event that brings together local artists and designers, a place where you can support their work by buying their hand-made clothes, jewellery, decorative objects and pretty much everything else you can imagine.

You can listen to live music, walk along the Bega canal and enjoy a fresh lemonade, a cold beer or a super sweet desert (I am emphasizing this because you really have to try the papanaşi – they are fantastic).

This event took place at Porto Arte restaurant, on the 16th and 17th of April.

An event hosted by Vintage Bazzar and Noi Re-Cream which has brought artists like Tourmaline Boutique, Kripy Shop, Urban Birds, Laura Chiriţă and many more, together in one place, to create a magical land where anyone can buy whatever their hearts desire.

If you follow our page, Tourist in Timişoara – Romania, we promise we will keep you posted about future cool events like this one, because we now have inside information from the artists themselves, how awesome is that?!

Now, just admire some great photos we took there and make sure you come back to visit our page soon.
