Planning, discussing, packing and finally leaving for the long-awaited holiday. Such exciting times, so much fuss and so many talks between everyone involved, it just feels like it’s stressful or that it’s too much work. I’ve managed to pack all my important things in my backpack, so I am all ready to go.
Packed my blanky, a pacifier, 3 books, 2 poneys and some fluffy toys, my cat-cat and puppy. That’s all a person needs, right? Easy-peasy and everything was done in the blink of an eye.
After all the hard work I’ve decided to help my mommy with the big luggage, she seemed to be struggling, so I’ve put my nappies and slippers in. I believe it’s important to have the right pair of shoes, all the time. 🙂 Continue reading ““Going on holiday with my parents””
I am so glad you are reading this today because there are some aspects I’ve been thinking about lately and I want you to think about them too. You know what I’ve realized? We forgot how to be genuinely good to people.
Yes, it’s true, we really forgot how to do it.
The other day a girl stopped me on the street and asked if I am willing to donate 2 euro to a charity. She started the conversation with “have you done a good deed today?” and I froze. I have actually stopped and stared at her for a moment. Not because of the fact that she approached me on the street or because she wanted money, but because I have realized that I have stopped doing good for some reason. Continue reading “Good.”
It is never easy to truly write about feelings. Expressing powerful emotions has to be one of the most difficult things to write about. If you say too much everyone will know your secrets, if you say too little you might seem shallow. So, what’s the best way to approach this sensitive subject?
Well, there’s no easy way around it, so: just do it!
People never seem to find the right moment in time to say what they truly feel. Time doesn’t seem to be our best friend when we want to express certain feelings. As soon as that “perfect timing” passes the impact of our emotions and expressions doesn’t have the same effect. Continue reading “Love-ing”
Sometimes I write my posts when I’m directly affected by certain aspects in my life. Today I am writing this post because it’s Friday and because something really interesting happened. Something I didn’t believe was possible.
This morning I went to a coffee shop, to buy some coffee for my work colleagues and for myself. Because my husband couldn’t come with me, I took a cab and asked the driver to wait for me.

Three days have passed from the new-started year of 2017. How exciting… we have 12 months to do things, tick our checklists and set new goals and accomplish what we didn’t in 2016. A fresh start, a second chance, or simply just another new year start. We all have different perspectives, different ideas, different objectives and final goals. It is totally understandable.
This year, all I want is for people to come together and try to accomplish things together, let’s just call it a common purpose. Continue reading “Out with the Old, In with the New…”
Such a nice feeling… such a familiar and cozy feeling. That’s exactly how this felt. It was as if time had just stopped, and all the worries, all the grown-up concerns and all the daily hustle had just dissolved. Winter, Summer, Spring and Fall, 4 parts of the Gilmore’s revival managed to bring back all sort of emotions and made us laugh, cry and wonder what will happen next…
It all started in 2000, October 5th, that’s 16 years ago! Sixteen!!! I can still remember I was checking the books Rory read, so I could start reading them as well. I suffered with her, for Dean, Jess and Logan, and I secretly hoped she would end up with Logan – something about the English charm probably. Continue reading “Gilmore Girls”
This is a story about Jane (fictional name) whom I’ve met about 8 years ago. Jane is an amazing woman, and her life has been full of ups and downs. Let’s just say her life literally had everything in it. Happy moments, sad memories, drama, fun and love. Her heart has learned to adapt to situations and she eventually understood that life isn’t all about money and wealth. Once she got to understand this, she realized that her 15 years old job needs to change. She has been working in the same place for such a long time, a time when she witnessed change, a time when she had to adapt to new technology, to keep up, and a time when she forgot to live her actual life, outside of the office.
